Enjoy a cozy winter at wonderful Bromley Mansion. Built in 1899, it was
once a music school. Now a quiet, academic, bohemian, plant-filled refuge
on a tranquil, treelined, bird-filled street. I am looking to sublet my room
to a responsible, quiet, considerate person while I am away
in warmer climes for the winter.

The room is spacious, bright and warm. It has gracious, high ceilings and
hardwood floors. It has a comfortable, queen sized bed from which you
can watch the large screen TV (with Roku!). It has windows that overlook the
backyard, and a private entrance. It has a small refrigerator, a desk area, and a very
effective heater, and excellent wifi reception.

You will be sharing the house with seven other quiet and responsible academics, grad students, and artists who fill the three floors. Surprisingly, due to the size of the house
and our busy schedules, we don’t see each other too often.

The house features a large, shared, eat in kitchen with all the amenities,
along with two shared bathrooms, both of which have showers, and one with a claw foot tub!
There is also a parlor with a sitting area, and a backyard with a picnic table, fire pit and gas BBQ. There is also a lovely and expansive wrap around porch with areas for sitting and eating.

The house is conveniently located just a block away from a good grocery store
and laundromat, and just two blocks from the Cortelyou and Beverly Q-line subways.
We are half a block from Cortelyou, which has loads of fun restaurants and bars.
The neighborhood also has great Mexican groceries and restaurants, and you can
walk to Prospect Park in 20 minutes.
